We’re back!, almost a month since the last post. this time we bring you a lot of cool images from the modeling/texturing department.
Many people have written to us, asking what’s going on with Plumiferos, when it is going to premiere and other related things. It is clear after these last months without any news from us that something wrong was happening with the project. Some websites have published premiere dates even (without checking with us first) and of course they were wrong.
In order to put some light on so much mistery we officialy acknowledge we have been thru a break but also that “Plumiferos” has not died !
Good news is WE ARE BACK ON TRACK !. At the time of writing these lines we are doing some cleaning of what was done so far, checking what is left to do, animating and lighting unfinished shots and planning the remaining time of the project.
Premiere dates are still undefined so we’re not going to publish it for the time being.
We kindly thank everyone in the Blender community for their support and enthusiasm. We are working for all of you guys !

So you want to make a 3D movie at home ? But you want to use the SAME tools we use here at the studio ? And for FREE ? Don’t search any further, ladies and gentlemen, you can download NOW the amazing PlumiBlender, the Blender version we use at the studio every day of the week (including weekends sometimes).Prebuilt binaries for Windows and Linux i386 can be downloaded from:
http://www.graphicall.org (Thanks guys !). We will try to keep these binaries updated.

As every year this October took place from the 12th to 14th the sixth Blender Conference in Amsterdam, The Netherlands. The event that gathers all blenderheads around the Globe.

This time we are going to have a quick peep at the FX department. What is an FX anyway ? General definition would be “any animation that is not character animation” and we’ll see that many animations suits this definition: moving objects like cars, trees, curtains; fluids, gases, explosions, atmospherical fx like rain, lightning, sun at dawn or dusk, etc etc Read the rest of this entry »
We’ve been so busy here these months that we didn’t have time to make any reports. Probably many of you are wondering when are we going to finish the movie and things like that.
There is an old spanish saying “When 90% of a project is done, what is left is the other 90%”

This time we are going to take a quick look at how a scene is done from concept art to postproduction.
2006 is gone and 2007, “The Plumíferos Year”, is here. During these months we’ve been working so hard, that we didn’t have the time to show you our progress. The images below are our way to say thank you for all your support and kindness. This is YOUR movie !
From this humble corner of the world we would like to thank to all people that kindly give us support and strenght to carry on. To all of you, we wish you a Happy New Year 2007 ! The year of Plumiferos !
